20/11/2008 - Sinclair: Stags can go on winning run
Emile Sinclair is quietly confident Mansfield can gun down Forest Green Rovers - and string back-to-back wins together for the first time since August.
The Stags last notched consecutive victories when they beat Northwich Victoria 3-2 and Grays Athletic 1-0 in successive games at Field Mill.
But after their 3-0 win over Salisbury City last Saturday, optimism is high again.
Sinclair said:"We didn't have a game on Tuesday (scheduled opponents Altrincham had an FA Cup replay) which was a shame because I was looking forward to it.
"Hopefully we can take what we did against Salisbury into Saturday against Forest Green instead.
"I think we have one of the best teams in the league, no matter where we are in table.
"We just have to have confidence in ourselves."
Sinclair has scored three goals since joining on loan from Nottingham Forest and has played as a central striker and on the right side of a front three.
The 20-year-old knows his strike against Salisburywas the most important of that trio.
He said: "It was very important to get our home form going again. We definitely needed to keep a clean sheet.
"It was a good day for the strikers and the defence."
